Roles: Project Manager & Senior Project Manager

Locations: Reading area

Salary: £35,000 - £75,000 depending upon experience

Exciting new Project Manager roles from Assistant to Senior levels. You will be involved in the management of “design and build” projects to provide facility improvements. Coming from a construction background in regulated environments, design, development but more so construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Engagement with client and customer stakeholders;
• Management of the project through the detailed design, delivery and handover phases
• Managing subcontractors

You will make sure the site can operate and facilities can do their job. You will either have a background in:

• Refits and Rebuilds – working on old sites with around 200 buildings on them. Looking at offices, canteens, chillers, coolers, dehumidifiers, scientific kits, to advanced manufacturing, experimentation and advanced facilities. Some end of life and needing upgrades. Experience in stripping out and replacement / refit, modernising and making fit-for-purpose.

Or

• Infrastructure / Facilities Management: keeping facilities running. Covering drainage, power, gas, steam, replacements, cabling and utilities. From Industries such as Water, Utilities, Gas & Power, Energy, Construction.

You will have and understanding of:

• Project and programme management.
• Planning, risk and cost management
• Design and development processes and their governance.
• UK Health and Safety Legislation.
• Understanding of NEC contracts
