Responsibilities:Provide expertise in traffic analysis, transportation design and operations on a broad range of traffic and transportation projectsRequires a strong technical background and the ability to interact with both clients and the publicLeading efforts related traffic impact studies, safety studies, MOT, traffic signal design, signal optimization, and transportation planningProject management including proposals, project scope, schedule, budgets, QAQC, staffing and workloadsMentor and coach staff in developing traffic and transportation engineering skillsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required, MS PreferredMinimum of 10+ years of related experience requiredMI PE License required.Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) preferred.Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, organization, and multi-tasking skillsExcellent technical, written, and oral communication skills and familiarity of industry practices and regulationsAbility to attend meetings; both daytime and nighttime meetings, some travel maybe required within MichiganStrong working knowledge of Synchro/Sim Traffic requiredFamiliarity or working knowledge of Rodel, AutoCAD or MicroStation, PTV Vissim, PTV Vistro, HCS a plusApply today to join one of the 101 Best & Brightest companies to work for!Equal Opportunity Employer; Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
