The Project Manager is responsible for the management, coordination, and execution of all projects assigned by Patterson Pope for mobile shelving, stationary shelving, modular millwork, lockers, and other storage systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


• Ensures that all products are installed according to Manufacturer’s written specifications

• Comprehend, follow, and enforce all department SOP's, policies, and procedures

• Educate, enforce, and maintain company safety standards

• Schedule and coordinate all product installations

• Manage both internal and external labor, including hire and termination

• Scout and review installation sites, prior to and during projects

• Verify the accuracy of installation measurements

• Review and manage all inbound product deliveries, including receiving and delivery

• Document communication with customers, sales, and vendors through project management software

• Develop installation plans in Ops software prior to dispatching install teams to a job site

• Ensure that all projects are completed on time and on budget

• Complete payroll, certified payroll, on time and prevailing wage if applicable

• Manage shortages, returns and expedited orders, RFR's, RGA's

• Responsible for customer satisfaction on installation quality & staff professionalism

• On a daily basis update all project management software (Monday.com, Company Cam)

• Obtain Customer sign off upon project completion

• Approve all vendor invoices within 48 hours

• Alert Accounting to bill completed projects

• Train all staff in required factory and safety certifications

• Communicate with and support the Service Operations Team

• Perform objective semi-annual reviews of staff members

• Other duties as assigned by management

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good organizational & follow-through skills.

• Project and maintain a positive professional image

• OSHA 30 Certification

• Maintain all factory and safety certifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design drawings

• Competent in the following software MS Office, Monday.com, SalesForce, Spacenet, Adobe, Company Cam, OnBase, GPS software, etc.

• Master Project Management protocols in Monday.com, train staff and elevate noncompliance issues.

• Strong Customer Service aptitude

• Ability to prioritize – uses resources efficiently and balances what is important vs. what is critical.

• Approachability - Listens; allows adequate time for interactions; creates a supportive communication environment.

• Leadership Presence – Takes charge of a situation, and has others follow his/her leadership

• Patience – Behaves in a manner that encourages and allows interactive behavior from those less skilled, knowledgeable, or experienced
