Job Description:



As Project Quantity Surveyor you will play a vital role in their projects. You will be responsible for accurately ensuring cost control throughout the project's lifecycle. You will work closely with the project management team to provide financial oversight and deliver successful projects within budget.



Key Responsibilities:



Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.



Procurement: Coordinate the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining competitive bids, and negotiating contracts to secure the best value for materials and services.



Contract Administration: Administer contracts and manage contractual relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.



Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement through value engineering initiatives, optimizing project outcomes without compromising quality or performance.



Cost Control: Implement robust cost control measures to track project expenses, identify cost variances, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure financial objectives are achieved.



Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks related to cost, schedule, and quality, developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project outcomes.



Change Management: Manage change orders and variations to contract scope, assessing cost implications and negotiating equitable adjustments to contract terms as necessary.



Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project financial performance, including cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and expenditure analysis, providing stakeholders with accurate and timely information to support decision-making.



Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining high ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of work.
