Project Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

This emerging SME property consultancy continues to carve out a fantastic reputation in London & South East market, and they’re wishing to expand - AGAIN!



If you’re an ambitious project running Quantity Surveyor you definitely need to consider having a chat with our fantastic client to whom we’ve recruited several staff in recent months. They’re continuing to recruit to support independently CM won projects and support the wider building consultancy team. They’re looking to appoint this project runner ASAP.



Now employing over 30 staff, they’ve hired well and due to consistent expansion over the past 6 years, projects under management have increased significantly within other commercial sectors (as well as continuing to grow in the high end residential/estates arena) and in value too, projects now comfortably range between £5-50m, either heavy refurbishments or bespoke new build schemes working alongside even more top rated architects.



Candidates willing to apply must have a Quantity Surveying degree (RICS accredited & UK awarded) with a minimum of 3 years UK cost consultancy experience, ideally MRICS status – and dependent on experience, you’ll be both supporting and leading (where fit) commercial projects across the business. This really is a fantastic opportunity for a budding quantity surveyor, keen to flourish in a vibrant and ambitious team on a firm upward trajectory!



Your role will include a full range of traditional pre & post contract administration duties (measurement, tender reviews, reporting, budget estimating etc) and you’ll be immersed in client facing responsibilities quickly.



Key personal criteria includes being personable, articulate and presentable to manage clients accordingly. If capable, you will be given immediate opportunities re: client management so you should demonstrate confidence and resilience in your ability to handle this level of responsibility form an early stage. Candidates should also have good, competent IT software skills.

Salary guide is c£45,000 - 65,000 (dependent on experience) + Benefits
