The company has a turnover of £1.5bn and operates across the UK and Ireland with 50,000 colleagues delivering innovative award-winning services to the private and public sectors and supporting the local communities in which it operates.\n\nJob Overview\n\nWe are currently recruiting for Project Works - Approved Electrician to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Scotland\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nUndertake refurbishment & installation works of all aspects of electrical services, including electrical switchgear, distribution boards, mains and sub- mains cabling, containment, lighting and other electrical equipment.\nTo have knowledge of inspection and testing procedures and certify works upon completion in accordance with relevant certification. \nTo undertake reactive and planned service works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames ensuring client expectations are met.\nProvide detailed reports upon completion of works including breakdown processes, hours and materials of works to allow for accurate valuation of works. \nTo provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.\nTo take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.\nTo ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company Health, safety and quality standards and that works are delivered in accordance with RAMS and CDM regulations.\nEnsuring risk assessments, method statements and tool box talks are completed as required.\nUnderstanding of IEE wiring regulations and Electrical Safety Rules \n\nAbout You:\n\nApplicants must have the right to work in the UK\nApproved Electrician NVQ level 3\nCity & Guilds 2391,\n18th Edition BS7671\nCSCS Skillscard.\nPASMA\nIPAF\nPrevious experience working within projects / minor works environment.\nFull clean driving licence.\nCustomer focussed individual with proactive approach to working.\nAbility to work on own initiative and or as part of a team.\nAbility to work safely at all times and the ability to understand contract and Health & Safety requirements/regulations. \nTo attempt to solve issues in the first instance in a manner that will not put the client’s products or people at risk.\nPossess effective communication skills with ability to write technical reports and or communicate verbally with Manager, helpdesk and client representatives.\nAbility to use electronic hand held devices.  \nAbility to identify issues or risks that require escalation as necessary to Manager.
