PSL Piping

Role Definition

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop piping systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards.

  • Conduct piping layout studies, ensuring optimal routing and spacing for piping systems.

  • Prepare and review piping isometrics, layouts, and detailed design drawings.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate piping systems with other engineering disciplines.

  • Perform stress analysis and support design to ensure system integrity and reliability.

  • Oversee piping material selection and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports related to piping design.

  • Support procurement activities and vendor evaluations for piping materials and components.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping engineering, specifically in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.

  • Strong knowledge of piping design principles, materials, and relevant codes (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API).

  • Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
