PSM, Safety, and Health Manager

PSM, Safety, and Health Manager Location: Danbury, CT Job Description: This ultra clean 150-person site produces ultra-high purity chemicals and food additives under PSM guidelines using primarily batch reactors with plans to build another local additional plant. The site is staffed with degreed chemists as operators, process engineers, and a large staff of research chemists. This person will be responsible for the PSM, Plant Safety and Health program with one direct report. There is an Environmental Engineer on site to handle Environmental Compliance and there will be overlap between departments. Safety or Science Degree8+ years out of a PSM regulated chemical manufacturing with supervisory skills. Pluses would be experience with environmental regulations Other manufacturing industries will be considered; with specialty chemicals, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food additives being given priority
