PSV Engineering Manager needed

Our client, one of the largest bus operators in the UK, is seeking for a PSV Engineering Manager to join their team in Workington.



The ideal candidate will be having the responsibility of supporting, advising and managing the team on a daily basis to maintain and repair fleet of 82 buses, also will have the opportunity to manage company's buildings and plant equipment.



Role: PSV Engineering Manager



Hours: Day shift; flexible hours



Location: Workington



Key Responsibilities:



* develop your engineering team to enhance their skills, passing on your technical knowledge to both experienced technicians and eager-to-learn apprentices alike



* leading a team of 38 professionals who are skilled with a spanner, a mop and a paint brush



* making sure that all vehicles are presented to the high standards



* have autonomy over resource management, stock and people



* main responsibility in ordering, managing inventory, recruiting, training and health & safety



Requirements:



* experience in people management
