We are seeking a Purchasing Representative to join our team! You will build and maintain vendor relationships and offer sourcing solutions to drive competitive advantage and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Research and source products from new and existing vendors
• Maintain and strengthen vendor relationships
• Reach agreed upon targets
• Regularly communicate with appropriate parties in purchasing, transportation, and sales
• Process purchase orders and manage order changes
• Resolve product and vendor inquiries, issues, and complaints

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in procurement, food distribution, customer service, or other related field preferred
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Can thrive in high-paced work environment
• Can work with multiple people from multiple departments including department heads
• Can work well under pressure
• Possesses extreme attention to detail
• Can easily manipulate numbers with basic math skills
• Familiar with MS Office applications, web navigation, and standard computer hardware and software
• Can prioritize tasks while rationally considering the outcomes of key decisions
