**Position Summary:**  
The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process for materials and services required for home construction projects. This role involves negotiating with vendors, managing inventory, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure the best value and quality for our projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Analyze project needs and prepare purchase orders for materials and services.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best prices and terms.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and product quality.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Review and assess supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies to improve efficiency and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field ().
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction or homebuilding industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
