Competitive Pay: Earn up $85,000 a year based upon experience-additionally, you have bonus potential of earning upwards of 5-10% each year based on company and personal performance, evaluated 2x/year during performance reviews. All available on date of hire except: 401k (6months) and PTO ( 90 days) Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate current purchasing activities and processes throughout the company to then work with the Leadership Team to develop a comprehensive purchasing program that you will manage Work within established budgets for all purchases including CAPEX projects Evaluate suppliers, create and maintain approved supplier list Negotiate contract terms, including price and delivery of goods and services Track and ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain updated records of purchases, deliveries, and invoices Establish, maintain and monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary Coordinate with various stakeholders (including ownership) as needed Create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers Resolve conflicts with delivery schedules, product defects, and parts inventory levels Track and report on supplier and vendor performance, as well as cost saving measures reached About the Company: At Beacon Recycling, they pride themselves on their ability to manage scrap for clients in the Great Lakes Region.
