SUMMARY


The PVC Service Manager works under the supervision of the Director of Supervisors to Manage and Direct the Employees and Processes of Platinum Vapor Control Service Department. The PVC Service Manager is responsible for the oversight and training in the installation, preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of Platinum’s products. Daily responsibilities will include management of Field Service Supervisors and Service Technicians, scheduling projects, consulting with customers, and providing field support.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The Service Manager assumes responsibility for managing the Service Department to provide technical services related to installation, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of Platinum’s products while maintaining effective communications with fellow team members and clients. The duties and responsibilities of the Service Manager include, but are not limited to the following:


· Manages the services of PVC Lease Fleet which demands a High-Volume Workload

· Provides Technical Support to the Service Department and other necessary persons by being the subject matter expert on Platinum products on installations, training, etc.…

· Effectively Lead, Coach and Counsel Field Service Supervisors on all aspects of the job

· Conduct 90-day, 180 day and Annual Employee Performance Evaluations

· Manages and directs The Field Supervisor and the team of service technicians to ensure high level service is consistent across all Platinum Vapor Control clients.

· Displays excellent employee management skills by providing timely, constructive, positive feedback to Field Supervisors and Technicians including disciplinary actions.

· Works with Cross Functional Team Members to ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment.

· Strive to meet Annual Budget requirements, by tracking, running and analyzing reports, and providing necessary input.

· Develops personal growth opportunities for employees.

· Works with Service Coordinator to verify all paperwork, processes, and inventory are maintained appropriately.

· Occasionally track and know the locations of assigned Field Technicians.

· Works with Safety Manager to ensure company safety policies are communicated and maintained across the department.

· Technicians with Field Supervisors to ensure the execution of frequent field inspections to ensure technicians are properly trained and executing their work correctly and safely.

· Occasionally, 25% of time or less, travels onsite to complete service work and monthly preventative maintenance requirements for Platinum’s Vapor Recovery Units, and other products.

· Inspects, investigates, and troubleshoots equipment for quality control and improvements.

· Secures appropriate parts and supplies through designated procurement system.

· Ensures all appropriate records are maintained and submitted through the appropriate channels timely. Examples include inventory audits, check-out sheets, work orders, timesheets, etc.

· Uses and adapts computer programs to retrieve and analyze data.

· Expresses ideas clearly in written and oral communication with team members and management to complete various jobs.

· Understands and utilizes safety procedures and safety equipment at all times.

· Seeks growth in expanding knowledge and skills through training and education.

· Presents self in clean, neat, professional manner and wears company uniform (if provided) in its entirety.

· Engages in the company’s vision and seeks to implement processes and establish goals with the company’s vision in mind.

· Available for 24 hour on-call duty and Willingness to travel.

· Performs other miscellaneous duties assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

· Must be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, twist/turn, push/pull, squat, crawl/kneel, reach above shoulder.

· Must be able to perform repetitive hand/wrist/arm movements.

· Average close/distance vision necessary in order to record data and operate equipment.

· Must be able to communicate effectively and be understood by others.

· Must be able to hear the various equipment in order to diagnose issues.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


· Minimum of 3 years Electrical background within the oil and gas industry

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience and knowledge with vapor recovery units or compression is

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing or leading others in a professional environment

· Safe Land certified

· Microsoft Suite experience

· High School diploma, or equivalent (Associates Degree )
