QA Analytical Chemist

Job Title:QA Analytical ChemistJob Description: The Role: Entegris is seeking a 1st shift QA Analytical Chemist for our KSP facility. Wednesday -Sunday 8 :00 a m- 5 : 0 0 p m.The QA Chemist is responsible for QA testing and will provide analytical support for production of our Micro - Contamination Control and Membrane products. The QA Chemist will prepare and test samples using ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, TOC analysis, NVR , LC-CAD, GC- MS and GC-FID /MS . In this role you will: Conduct QA product testing of Filtration and Membrane products from manufacturing . F ollow and documen t standard operating procedures for conducting required tests . Set up analytical standards, reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used in testing process. Analyze and interpret test data , maintain documentation of test operations and ensure data quality and integrity. Perform prevent at ive maintenance and troubleshoot testing equipment . Remove and dispose waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures . Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner . Traits we believe make a strong candidate: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline and at least 2 years of relative work experience is required ; strong internship/co-op experience in a related field will be considered. A strong scientific approach and high attention to detail are key to success in this role. Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment while completing individual projects is required . ICP MS , HPLC, and GC FID / MS experience s are preferred. Experience with a LIMs (Labware) system is a plus. Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred. So me exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred.
