About the Role As a QA Automation Engineer , you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software by automating test processes and building robust frameworks. Your expertise in Java and JavaScript will be essential in supporting and improving our in-house testing frameworks, all while collaborating with a dynamic, cross-functional team. Key Responsibilities: Test Automation: Lead and drive automation efforts across web applications and backend services using your expertise in Java or JavaScript. Framework Development: Maintain and enhance the company’s in-house testing frameworks, with a focus on Playwright, Cypress, and similar tools. Programming Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of programming languages, test automation design patterns, and data structures to write clean, efficient, and scalable code. Testing Solutions: Implement automated testing solutions for Web, APIs, and backend services, including integration with GraphQL and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB). Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality code and adherence to best practices. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in test automation with a strong focus on Java and/or JavaScript. Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright and Cypress . Strong understanding of automation design patterns, ensuring scalable and maintainable test scripts. Solid knowledge of web testing, backend services, and API testing. Hands-on experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB). Expertise in CI/CD testing, integrating automation into continuous integration pipelines.
