Newell Corporation is currently looking to add a metrology focused inspector to our QC department.  Newell Corp. offers a wide variety of welding/fabricating/machining & assembly services at our facility located in Arlington, WA.  A QC Inspector at Newell Corp. is responsible for completing formal first part inspections, in process inspections and helping create/maintain quality documents through the product life cycle.  These inspections will primarily be metrology based with the use of CMS such as Romer arms, laser trackers, laser scanners and CMM’s.

Required Skills/Experience:

-Strong understanding of technical drawings and drafting standards.

-Strong understanding of GD&T and its practical application.

-1+ years of experience using articulating arms for measuring activities in a production environment.

-1+ years of experience using laser trackers for measuring activities in a production environment.

-1+ years of experience doing “bench top” inspection in a production environment.

-Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems and documents.

Skills/Experience:

-Experience programming and/or operating CMMs.

-Experience creating AS9102 FAIRs

-Experience maintaining and auditing a AS9100 quality system
