They are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their development team. The position would be ideal for a high-performing individual experienced in delivering quality assurance for enterprise systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Your primary role involves building and maintaining automated test pipelines using tools such as Playwright.
- You are required to analyze, understand, and review functional and non-functional requirements, identifying any gaps or inconsistencies.
- You'll be responsible for developing automated tests to ensure the system meets quality standards.
- Administering defect reporting, triaging, and follow-up to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
- Your role also involves promoting and adopting QA best practices, contributing to their continuous improvement.
- Contributing to defining automation guidelines and standards for an optimized software testing process.
Expectations & Requirements:
- Should possess at least three years of experience in QA engineering, including writing automated tests for web or non-web-based applications.
- Quite an acquaintance with QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Git/GitHub.
- Must be skilled in using tools such as Jest, Playwright, and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
- Ensure that you deliver high-quality testing for complex systems, with additional experience in high-stakes enterprise environments being advantageous.
- Ensuring quality projects are delivered within defined timelines, with experience in REST/web socket-based API testing being beneficial.
- You are also expected to have experience in performance testing with tools like K6 or Artillery, and exposure to trading applications would be a plus.
