What You’ll Do:As a Quality Assurance Technician / Inspector, you will play a key role in maintaining product quality throughout the manufacturing process. You’ll be responsible for:

• Product Inspection & Testing: Conduct in-process inspections and measurements on both raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records, including first run samples, family colors, and pouching/converting retain samples.
• Rework Oversight: Inspect and audit reworked or resorted materials and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce food safety and quality assurance procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with leadership to address quality issues and contribute to ongoing process improvement.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain inspection, measurement, and testing equipment, ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.

What We’re Looking For:

• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and a quality-critical mindset to ensure the highest standards are met.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds. You should also be able to stoop, kneel, and climb ladders as part of your duties.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience: Prior experience in quality assurance or production inspection is a plus, especially in flexible packaging or printing industries.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic software tools (Microsoft Word, Excel) and ability to quickly learn new programs.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly and professionally.
• Perception: Excellent vision (with or without corrective lenses) for inspecting printed materials.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.

Industry Experience: Experience with testing methods (destructive, in-process, controlled) and knowledge of quality expectations in the flexible packaging or printing industry.

• 401K Plan – Plan entry date is the first of the month following 6 months of service. Company provides its employees with a 100% match up to 1% and 50% match up to 6%.
• Company Paid Short Term – The Short-Term premium is 100% paid by Employer
• Company Paid Long Term – The Long-Term premium is 100% paid by Employer
• Life Insurance – The Basic Life premium is 100% paid by employer and is a flat $20,000 benefit for all FT, benefit eligible employees. Employees have the option to purchase additional voluntary life insurance for self, spouse, and dependent children.
• Vacation/PTO: The amount of vacation/paid time off (PTO) employees receive each year starts at 80 hours (2 weeks) each year, which accrues at a rate of 1.538 hours per week, and increases with the length of employment.
• 6 Company Paid Holidays – Eligible after 60 days of employment.
• Sick Leave – Eligible for paid sick days at the rate of 3 days (24 hours) per year after 6 months of service (prorated for per the calendar year).
