JOB PURPOSE:

Quality Manger maintains ultimate responsibility for assuring that all products are defect free and compliant with technical specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Provides administration of the Quality Control activities.

Performs Receiving, First Article, In-process and Final Inspection for raw materials, detail parts and assemblies.

Prepares final data packages including the Certificate of Conformance for customers.

Presents parts and final data packages to customers Quality Assurance Representatives.

Performs maintenance of the calibration system.

Performs Planning and Purchase Order reviews for Technical Quality requirements.

Coordinates all internal and external ISO 9001/AS 9102D Audits.

Knowledge of Inspection tools and equipment, Quality Management systems ISO 9001/AS 9102D.

Maintains the Quality Manual, procedures and work instructions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Quality Assurance metrics.

Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.

Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years of Quality Assurance experience, and 2 years at management position.
