Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 per year

About the Role:
Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a growing manufacturer who is looking to fill their Quality Manager opening. We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and enhance quality initiatives at the plant level for a growing manufacturing facility. This individual will focus on a proactive Quality Assurance (QA) approach, ensuring continuous improvement and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee plant-wide quality assurance programs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Act as a key liaison with customers, addressing quality concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Lead and develop quality teams to enhance process improvements, defect prevention, and problem-solving techniques.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Implement and maintain ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 quality management system compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain to integrate quality assurance into every stage of the manufacturing process.
- Monitor KPIs and quality metrics, using data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and product reliability.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field ; equivalent experience (4-6 years in Quality Management) will be considered.
- Proven experience in quality management within an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive cultural change toward a QA-focused approach.
- Expertise in FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, and 8D methodologies.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in quality-related software, data analysis, and reporting tools.
