Quality & Compliance Engineer
Our client are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality and Compliance Engineer to lead Quality and Compliance for the business, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
Implementing QA processes and procedures
Conducting inspections and audits of manufacturing processes
Investigate quality issues
Regulatory Compliance
Stay up to date with industry standards and regulations
Ensure products are safely labelled
Maintaining documentation for audits
Continuous Improvement
Analyse data and reports to identify areas of improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and best practices
Supplier Quality Management
Evaluate quality standards and regulatory compliance of suppliers
Conduct supplier audits
Key Attributes
Experience working in Quality, dealing with small retail/electronic products
Experience working with UK and SE Asia manufacturers
Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical process control (SPC).
Problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including CE and Packaging Regulations
Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or similar is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
