Position Summary
The Quality and Compliance Manager will ensure grant funded programming adheres to all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role oversees program evaluation, ensures compliance with grant and contractual obligations, and implements quality assurance processes to enhance the effectiveness of interventions.
Essential Responsibilities:
Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to violence intervention and prevention programs.
- Monitor adherence to grant requirements, including reporting, timelines, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary liaison during audits and evaluations conducted by funding agencies or regulatory bodies.
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and tools to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Conduct regular audits, case reviews, and site visits to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Collaborate with program staff to address deficiencies and implement corrective action plans.
Data Management and Analysis:
- Oversee data collection, management, and reporting to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze program metrics and outcomes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and external funders.
Training and Development:
- Provide training to staff on compliance, quality standards, and program protocols.
- Develop educational resources to support staff in maintaining program fidelity and excellence.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program sustainability.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and legal requirements to proactively address compliance challenges.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with program leadership to align quality and compliance initiatives with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability and excellence within the team.
- Represent the organization in professional networks and maintain strong relationships with community partners.
- This team member will also interact with the CEO, Controller and Directors to ensure grant compliance practices are implemented
Knowledge and Experience:
- Associate degree in Social Work, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree ).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or program management, preferably in a violence intervention/prevention or social services setting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data management systems and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Experience with accreditation processes or quality certification standards.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations related to violence prevention and intervention programs (e.g., VAWA, VOCA, FVPSA).
- Grant writing or management experience.

Physical/Mental Essential Requirements:
- Walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, moderate lifting and carrying (up to thirty (30) pounds).
- Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.
- Occasional need to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to focus on detail and accuracy of work product.
- Occasional high stress may be experienced in dealing with clients, staff, and volunteers.
- Ability to travel locally to programming sites and community meetings as needed.
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for audits or special events.
