Salary: £30,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and detail-driven Quality Control Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role for someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys working collaboratively to continuously raise the bar.
Whether you’ve got a background in manufacturing, service, or engineering, this could be your chance to step into a key quality role in a forward-thinking company that genuinely values technical know-how.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our new Quality Control Engineer, you'll be the final gatekeeper of quality before our machines hit the market – making sure every product that leaves the factory floor is fault-free, reliable, and built to spec.
Key responsibilities include:
* Final Quality Checks: Inspect machines for everything from paint finish and welding standards, to torque settings, hydraulic and electrical systems, and correct part fitment.
* Reporting & Documentation: Create detailed quality reports that guide rectification work or approve machines for stock – driving continual improvement through trend analysis.
* Root Cause Analysis: Work with departments across the business to investigate defects, identify causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Support & Collaboration: Liaise with production, engineering, and sales teams to resolve issues quickly and ensure high service standards.
* Dealer Support: Assist our dealer network with technical advice and support to strengthen product performance and reputation in the field.
What We’re Looking For
We're after someone with a good technical head on their shoulders – someone who’s hands-on, proactive, and confident working independently or with a team.
Essential:
* Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or service environments
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to read and follow assembly instructions and technical drawings
* Good technical aptitude and a keen interest in how things work
* Confident communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally
* Self-motivated and forward-thinking
* Good IT Skills
Desirable (but not a deal breaker):
* Experience with plant or agricultural machinery
* Able to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
* Forklift/telehandler licences
* Familiarity with technical measuring and quality standards
What’s In It For You?
* On-the-job training – learn new skills and broaden your technical knowledge
* A varied role – from shop floor inspections to supporting dealers in the field
* Room to grow – career progression opportunities as the company continues to expand
* Supportive culture – be part of a down-to-earth, passionate, and skilled team
* Competitive salary – based on experience, plus full company benefits
