We are currently hiring a part-time to full-time Quality Control Coordinator. If you are interested in a career in fashion and want to gain knowledge and experience, this is an excellent opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Daily inspection for fabric flaws, construction defects, and production issues
• Communicates efficiently and effectively with production team when issues arise, and offers solutions to resolve
• Coordinates TOP review with Design and Production Department, and communicates results to contractor
• Liaison between Production Department and contractor
• Performs final QC on all production, and reports findings to contractor and Head of Production
• Liaison between Shipping Department and contractor to ensure finishing and packing is accurate upon delivery
• Measures to verify all garments meet spec and/or are within tolerance
• Documents all stages of QC process, and manages all information referenced by team
• Additional supportive tasks, as needed

Required:

• A true passion for the Fashion business
• Minimum of 2 years related experience
• Solid understanding of garment construction, garment specification, and reading spec sheets
• Excellent eye for detail
• Must be able to think critically to determine the level of defects and proposing a solution
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Exceptional communication skills through person to person, phone, text and email
• Ability to follow through on multiple tasks simultaneously an in an efficient manner
• Understanding of fabric, patterns, tech packs, graded specs, and construction techniques
• Proficient in Excel
• Dependable transportation, and the ability to drive to Los Angeles and Orange County contractors, daily
• Reliable work ethic
• Positive attitude
