An exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector working a full continental shift pattern (days and nights) in a DIT Department.

\n

\n

The Purpose of the Role:

\n

\n

Responsible for completing visual product inspections using a variety of measuring equipment and NDT testing using hand test equipment.

\n

\n

Main Responsibilities of the Quality Contol Inspector

\n

\n

    \n
  • Responsible for completing visual product inspections.
  • \n

  • Preparing products for inspection, packaging and dispatch - goods inwards/outwards.
  • \n

  • Loading and unloading of vehicles using overhead cranes and fork-lift trucks.
  • \n

  • Follow SOP's and QCP's.
  • \n

  • Support and contribute to the area's lean assessment process with the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques to maintain and improve the processes within the area.
  • \n

Key Skills / Experience:

\n

\n

    \n
  • Previous experience of visual product inspection.
  • \n

  • Experience driving forklift trucks would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
  • \n

  • Strong emphasis on attention to detail.
  • \n

  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • \n

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • \n

  • Ability to follow SOP's and QCP's.
  • \n

\n

The Quality Control Inspector will work 4 on 4 off shifts days and nights

\n

salary 46-47k

\n
