An exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector working a full continental shift pattern (days and nights) in a DIT Department.

The Purpose of the Role:
\n
\n
Responsible for completing visual product inspections using a variety of measuring equipment and NDT testing using hand test equipment.
\n
\n
Main Responsibilities of the Quality Contol Inspector
\n
\n
- \n
- Responsible for completing visual product inspections.
- Preparing products for inspection, packaging and dispatch - goods inwards/outwards.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using overhead cranes and fork-lift trucks.
- Follow SOP's and QCP's.
- Support and contribute to the area's lean assessment process with the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques to maintain and improve the processes within the area.

Key Skills / Experience:
\n
\n
- \n
- Previous experience of visual product inspection.
- Experience driving forklift trucks would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
- Strong emphasis on attention to detail.
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to follow SOP's and QCP's.
