Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Hourly Range: $20 - $35
Shift – 1st and 2nd
Starting Date: ASAP

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect products, materials, and components for quality, defects, and compliance with specifications

• Perform visual and measurement checks using various tools and equipment

• Record inspection results and maintain detailed documentation

• Identify and report quality issues to appropriate personnel

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts

• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related concerns

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations

• Conduct regular calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment

• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality control

• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures

• Train and mentor new quality control team members as needed

• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and lean manufacturing initiatives

• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes

• Prepare and present quality reports to management

• Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues in raw materials or components

• Conduct audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards

• Assist in maintaining and updating quality management systems documentation

• Participate in customer quality audits and address any concerns or findings

• Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement

Skills Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field

• 2+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks

• Proficiency in using measuring instruments and quality control tools

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and quality control software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) techniques

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality

• Basic math skills for data analysis and reporting

• Patience and persistence in identifying and resolving quality issues
