Quality Control Specialist (Furniture Manufacturing)

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist (Furniture) to join our team in our production warehouse! Our company makes highly variable furniture with high quality wood, fabric/leather, and metal materials. We are looking for someone to aid our production team in performing our final quality control checks for all the furniture in our product offering, coordinating with production supervisors on repairs/repair timelines, moving/storing furniture in our racks after they have passed quality control, and helping our team develop our interdepartmental quality control program. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities:

• Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped
• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Compare finished furniture to the specifications of the invoiced order
• Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
• Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
• Coordinate with department supervisors to perform repairs
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in quality control or furniture manufacturing is a plus!
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
