Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To

• Provide quality assurance support to customers
• Identify, review and approve quality provisions of the customer contract, specifications and expectations
• Responsible for supporting new product introduction and product development programs
• Perform root cause analysis and initiate and follow up when investigations, such as 8D reports are required
• Responsible for supporting and maintaining a customer focused and a quality culture within the organisation
• Assist the coordination of DFMEAs, PFMEAs, Process Flow, Process Capability Studies
• Support in the redaction of Customer Quality Plans

Essential Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline with a minimum 3 years’ experience with similar experience as NPI/Product Quality Engineer
• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings, including geometric tolerances
• Strong knowledge of all the aspects of metrology
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs), Process Capability analysis (Cp, Cpk), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
• Strong Leadership and mentoring skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Hours of work: Permanent Day Shifts Monday to Thursday 6:30am / 4:20pm
