Position: Quality Engineer

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

Job Type: Permanent

My client who innovates and manufacture top electronic products to help navigational systems for many different industries.

Role and Responsibilities –

In this role you will be responsible for monitoring, testing and reporting the quality of assembled products to make sure the highest levels of service are maintained to the companies key customers. Other responsibilities include:

• Resolve supplier quality issues using structured investigation and reporting techniques
• Provide technical support during supplier visits and audits
• Capture and report supplier quality performance to support the supplier review process
• Work with Operations teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the overall quality of the products

Experience or Qualifications –

• Demonstrable experience in inspection of purchased materials, components, and assemblies to ensure a high First Time Pass Yield
• Experience of working and testing electronic assemblies, being able to read circuit diagrams
• Demonstrable experience in monitoring, testing, and reporting the quality of assembled products to ensure compliance to ISO9001/ISO17025
• Experience in Internal and External Auditing

Candidates who currently are a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer or Quality Systems Engineer or Quality Technician may be suitable for this position.
