Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Leeds, UK

Salary: Up to £40,000 per year

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm



Job Description:

Join an established and respected manufacturing company in Leeds, where you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards.



Our client is searching for a Quality Engineer with experience with Non-Conformance Reports and is eager to bring their expertise to a thriving team.



Key Responsibilities:



* Manage and resolve NCRs, working closely with production and suppliers to address any issues.



* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future non-conformances.



* Oversee and conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.



* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.



* Document quality reports, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality data analysis.



* Support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System.



Qualifications:



* Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment.



* Strong knowledge of NCR processes and experience resolving quality issues.



* Familiarity with ISO standards and auditing practices.



* Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.



* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
