THE ROLE:

We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team at our innovative manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our products and processes. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance and process improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of incoming materials, processes, and finished products through various methods including visual analysis and using measurement tools.
• Identify and resolve quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in the development and review of quality documentation such as inspection plans, quality manuals, and standard operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.
• Facilitate quality audits (internal and external) and coordinate responses and actions as necessary.
• Train and guide team members on quality standards and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance across the organization.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry standards and advancements related to quality engineering and manufacturing processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and methodologies such as Six Sigma, ISO standards, and Lean manufacturing.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a track record of successfully implementing process improvements.
• Experience with statistical analysis software and quality management tools.
