Quality Engineer (Welding)

NES Fircroft are recruiting a Quality Engineer on behalf of our client who are completing Mechanical & Electrical Installations on a new build power station in Aberdare, Wales. 



This is a contract opportunity for 3-6 months. Working 6 days per week, Mon-Sat. 



Job Role: 

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for preparing and checking all welding procedures, record keeping, arranging necessary NDT's etc.



Experience: 

Qualified to CSWIP 3.1 

Extensive experience in fabrication and welding (minimum City and Guilds Fabrication and Welding qualification or equivalent).

MMA and TIG experience and familiarity 

Experience in heavy engineering sites: Power, Oil & Gas, Petrochem etc
