Job Description:

1st shift {Mon- Thur] 7:30am to 4:30pm and {Friday} 7am to 11am

Responsibilities for Quality Inspector

• Perform visual, in-process and final inspections using standard measurement instruments on tightly tolerance materials, components, subassemblies and final assemblies in the shipping, production, testing and packaging areas

• Performs required inspections in accordance with blueprints, specifications, standard operating procedures, work instructions and planning requirements

• Documentation of non-conformances on materials, components, or processes

• Shift work may be required as needed to support processing

• Dropping files into watch folders, sorting, renaming, uploading to company network drives

• Ensure timely throughput of product through inspection work queue

• Analyze various in-process materials, subassemblies and finished goods using multiple analytical techniques

• Report problems with analytical instrumentation and assist in subsequent repair(s)

• Accurately input and document analytical data into all necessary analytical databases

Qualifications for Quality Inspector

• HS diploma, or GED required—Associates degree is preferred

• Previous mechanical inspection background with ability to use basic and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, rulers, torque screwdrivers) preferred

• Experience using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets

• Individual must be organized, diligent and detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, large team environment
