Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for Quality Inspectors to perform 1st Piece Inspections. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Manufacturer of Aircraft Parts located in College Point NY.

Job Description

• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
• Performing and approve the quality of raw materials before manufacturing begins
• Read and understand blueprints and specifications
• Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards
• Recommend adjustments to the process or assembly
• Measure products with rulers, calipers, gages, or micrometers
• Accept or reject finished items
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
