Scope Inspects dimensional mechanical or electro-mechanical piece parts, subassembly or final assembly products in such areas as final inspection, precision assembly, in-process and shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical inspection of electro-mechanical parts, piece parts, subassemblies for workmanship and conformance to engineering standards and production specifications.
• Uses precision measuring tools, measuring machines, and electronic instruments to perform inspections in accordance with authorized specifications and quality control standards.
• Set up and operate test equipment utilizing hydraulic and air gages, electrical devices, and other types of gauges and testing equipment necessary for inspection.
