Quality Inspector
Job Description
To inspect manufactured components and materials to drawing requirements and specifications. You will liaise with other departments to maximise output on site.\n\nClient Details\n\nA well-established manufacturer in the Leeds area, they are looking to add a Quality Inspector to their team.\n\nDescription\n\nPerforming final & inter-stage dimensional inspections and supporting the requirements for documenting and maintaining records associated with these activities.\n\nReview and verify route cards, process instructions, engineering drawings and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of components.\n\nLiaise with client inspectors as and when required.\n\nPerform intermediate and final dimensional inspections including documenting and maintaining records associated with inspection.\n\nVerification of process instructions, engineering drawings and inspection procedures.\n\nInspection of parts to include the production and control of documents for materials processes and parts.\n\nAssist in the development and control of necessary documentation, analyse & report on materials, processes and products.\n\nCalibration and recording of measuring equipment.\n\nLiaise with other departments to maximise output\n\nProfile\n\nBasic Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 & AS9100 requirements.\nBasic Knowledge of all relevant British standards.\nSubstantial experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings and associated engineering documentation.\nCompetent user of measuring equipment, e.g. Verniers, Micrometers, CMM's and vision systems\nComputer Literate\nExcellent Communication and Organisational Skills\nAble to work of your own initiative\nFlexible attitude to workJob Offer\n\nSalary ranging between £30k and £33k\nShift Pattern: 6am-2pm (Monday - Friday) and 2pm-12am (Monday - Thursday) - Rotates Weekly
