Join the dedicated team at Davall Gears, an esteemed UK specialist in the design and production of precision gearing systems and gearboxes.



Key Responsibilities:



Conduct first off and final inspections of precision machined parts, compiling and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 (training available).

Utilise measuring equipment effectively, including micrometers, verniers, and CMM systems, to assess product specifications.

Collaborate with the team to analyse data, identify quality trends, and address any issues proactively.



Ideal Candidate:



A minimum of 3 years' experience in inspection within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Proven proficiency in inspecting precision machined components.

Strong analytical abilities coupled with a keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.

Familiarity with geometric tolerances and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality management software, with an understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
