Quality Inspector

This role adapts based on business needs, ensuring that no two days are the same. We operate in a job shop production environment, requiring a dependable individual who can meet physical demands and work independently or follow direction.

Shift Information:

• Second Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:15 p.m. – 1:45 a.m.  
• Training on First Shift:** Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Overtime as needed)

Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on mechanical inspection experience in precision metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of inspection hand tools and basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMM experience is a plus.

Skills Required:

• Understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensioning (GDT).
• Ability to convert metric and English measurements and fractions to decimals.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting prints and drawings.
• Knowledge of calibration systems and statistical techniques.
• Capability to inspect non-conforming products and complete certifications accurately.
• Experience with handheld inspection equipment and programming CMMs.

Additional Functions:

• Prioritize tasks in a busy job shop environment.
• Work effectively independently and in a team.
• Physical requirements include bending, lifting up to 75 lbs., and good communication skills.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience .  
• Focus on quality control and other duties as needed.
