Position: Dimensional Quality Inspector\nHourly Rate: £19.07\nShift: Afternoon Shift\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking a skilled Dimensional Quality Inspector to become a vital member of our client's precision engineering team. In this crucial role, you will ensure products meet exacting standards through thorough testing and inspection. Your responsibilities will include verifying incoming materials and approving finished products, all with a focus on accuracy and detail.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to approve finished products.\n * Verify that incoming products meet all visual and dimensional requirements.\n * Manage and coordinate repairs of measurement equipment.\n * Maintain safety and health standards within the workplace.\n * Collaborate across departments and take on additional responsibilities as needed.\n * Operate Mitutoyo CMM.\nEssential Qualifications:\n * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.\n * Proficiency in using standard engineering tools and inspecting machined components.\n * Experience in programming and operating Mitutoyo or Aberlink CMMs.\n * Familiarity with handling non-conforming products and meeting customer specifications.\nDesirable Qualifications:\n * Knowledge of Microsoft Office.\n * Experience with Faro Arms and Trimos Vertical Height Gauge.\nIf you have a keen eye for detail, experience in dimensional inspection, and a dedication to precision, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity!\nBy applying for this position, you consent to Recruit Engineering processing and storing your personal data, including your CV, contact details, and any other relevant information, for the purpose of providing work-finding services.
