As Quality Regional Leader, you will assure the effective implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of quality processes for the nine facilities within the ELIP US/LATM Operation teams and work with the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment. This role supports ABB's Electrification Installation Products division.

Global Quality Manager
Your responsibilities
- Define and develop Quality strategies in line with ABB Quality strategy and support their local adoption, deploying tools and techniques to accelerate the rate of operational improvement across the entire value chain
- Work to develop the teams quality expertise and ensure that data supports the necessary changes needed for growth
- Work with local management team to set coherent and aligned quality priorities and targets across the entire value chain; monitor progress and analyze Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and act on deviations from targets
- Deploy the standard quality improvement approach (within all areas of the local organization to continuously improve business practices and performance and improve quality compliance practices at each site, working with the leadership teams to implement and track corrective actions
- Drive application and development of group-wide best practice frameworks across the entire value chain to embed a culture of excellence in quality and operational performance
- Ensure the local organization has an effective management system that addresses Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental practices within the operation
- Ensure that operations and engineers are connected with each other and support the integration of process change
Your background
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field
- 8 years of Quality experience, with demonstrated competency in Lean and Six Sigma/Quality Science role
- ISO Lead Auditor Trained
- MBA for relevant master’s degree, Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
- Ability to communicate complex concepts via presentations for senior level audiences
- Ability to exercise sound business acumen, and exercise change management experience, as needed
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
