Candidate required: Quantity Surveyor -Residential \nJob Type: Permanent \nStart date: Immediate  \nIndustry: Construction professionals South \nLocation: Southampton \nSalary & package dependant on experience: Up to £65,000  + Package The role & about the client:\n\nOn behalf of our client, ITS Building People (Southampton) are searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a bespoke residential developer who also deliver some Industrial units in Hampshire\n \nThis role would suit someone who is keen to progress and develop their careers with a highly regarded developer who offer a clear career path.\n\nKey Responsibilities -\n \nCollating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages \nNegotiation and analysis of Sub contractor tender returns \nProducing tender analysis for subcontract work packages \nCompletion of Subcontract orders and variations \nSubcontract payments, variations, and final accounts \nCompleting Monthly CVRs and cost reporting \nCost reporting and budget control \nAttending site project meetings \nResponsible for project lead with HA, including prepare and issue monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, key date trackers \nThe ideal candidate\n\nThe ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on Housing projects and be keen to progress their career.\n\nEssential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role:\n \nExperience working within the Construction Industry as a Quantity Surveyor  \nPrevious experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor or Residential Developer on housing/industrial projects  Training/Progression opportunities:\n \nFuture opportunities to progress into a Senior Quantity Surveyor position Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.\n\nHow to apply:\n\nPlease send an up-to-date CV in strict confidence to (url removed) or contact me on (phone number removed)/ (phone number removed)\n\nThe ITS Group is committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment.
