A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor at their smart offices in Liverpool. The Quantity Surveyor will be joining their busy and growing energy business and supporting with the commercial aspects of a programme of electric vehicle projects across the UK. The Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with other team members, stakeholders and the client to ensure each project is a success. As a Quantity Surveyor, some of your main duties and responsibilities will include:



General commercial management from procurement through to final accounts

Timely identification of commercial risks

Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and the supply chain

Provide commercial and contractual support to the wider internal project team and subcontractors, ensuring all parties are working towards the same goals

Provide advice and guidance to junior members of the commercial team

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need:



Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the electrical, energy or civil engineering sectors

Good working knowledge of standard forms of contract, in particular the NEC form

Excellent communication skills
