Quantity Surveyor

Our client is well-respected, firm of Quantity Surveyors & Project Managers, seeking an energetic and confident Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team based from their Ely office. The Quantity Surveyor will be providing contractor support, working on pre/post contracts up to final accounts for a range of main contractors.



This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of projects across the residential/commercial sectors, with values ranging from £100k to £500 million. With an emphasis on staff satisfaction, our client offers a competitive package with 25 days holiday excluding the Christmas shutdown, Hybrid working and APC support available.



Quantity Surveyor Position Salary & Benefits

* Salary: £45k - £65k

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

* Carry out estimating services including BQ production

* Carry out quantity surveying services

* Provide the lead on commercial and financial advice

* Provide procurement and contract advice

* Maximise value recovery, cost control and cash management on projects worked on

* Commercially manage and control SC packages on projects worked on

* Assist in the protection of the Company's contractual position on projects worked on

* Prepare final accounts



Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

* At least 3 years of industry experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Contractor or PQS firm.

* A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction or similar.

* Need to be willing to commute to Ely twice per week.

* Communicate effectively or build good working relationships

* Open to someone London based that is willing to travel to Ely 1-2 times per week.
