We are now seeking a talented and motivated Estimator to join our growing team and contribute to the continued success and growth of the company.\n\nAbout the role:\n\nThey are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

In this role, you will:\n\nCost Control & Financial Management\n\n * Develop and implement strategies to optimize project profitability. Oversee business planning and ensure financial outcomes are maximized. Integrate new accounting systems (Xero & Eque2) and prepare financial reports and forecasts.\n\nProcurement Management\n\n * Collaborate with accounts and buying departments to align with procurement strategies.

Maintain a subcontractor database and enhance procurement processes. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.\n\nContract Administration\n\n * Maintain a register of contracts and warranty obligations. Review contract terms and ensure compliance with JCT protocols and PO/sub-contract terms.

Ensure proper documentation before project commencement.\n\nDesign & Project Coordination\n\n * Manage design services, including Revit and BIM, ensuring efficient project delivery. Coordinate project stages and collaborate with architects and engineers.\n\nCompliance & Risk Management\n\n * Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations. Identify and manage commercial risks and advise on dispute resolution.\n\nC\n\nClient & Stakeholder Communication\n\n * Serve as the primary contact for clients, fostering strong relationships.

Communicate with the Operations team to ensure alignment on project performance.\n\nAbout the benefits and rewards:\n\nThe company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of £70,000-£85,000 per year, dependent on experience.\n\nIn addition to the basic salary, there will be benefits including:\n\n• Employee pension scheme\n\n• Central office location with excellent transport links\n\n• Modern offices\n\n• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\nAbout the requirements:\n\n * Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.\n\n * 5-10 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying or a similar commercial role\n\n * within the construction industry.\n\n * Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.\n\n * Excellent communication, negotiation, and risk management skills.\n\n * Familiarity with legal frameworks, JCT contracts, and tendering processes.\n\n * Proficiency in design tools such as Revit and BIM.\n\n * Experience with financial systems such as Xero and Eque2 is a plus.\n\n * Strong analytical skills.\n\n * Willingness to travel to project sites
