Snowdon Recruitment are working with a very well established construction company who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their strong MEP team\n\nThe Role of the Quantity Surveyor\n\nYou will be responsible for the financial management of projects, specifically for allocated packages, working closely with the Senior Commercial Manager and Project Manager.\n\n * Quantity surveying for projects with a value of £7M+\n\n * Compiling monthly applications\n\n * Costing and agreeing project variation accounts\n\n * Preparing project Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports and attending monthly CVR project meetings\n\n * Negotiating and preparing sub-contract order documents\n\n * Valuing and issuing monthly sub-contract payment notifications/pay less notices\n\n * Overseeing credit control on projects\n\nThe Person required for the Quantity Surveyor job\n\n * Recognised qualification in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing (MEP) building-related subject\n\n * Proactive, diligent, and able to think ahead\n\n * Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels\n\n * Organised with a high attention to detail\n\n * Commercially aware\n\nThe Package for a Quantity Surveyor\n\n£60,000-£65,000 basic salary\n\n33 days holiday\n\nCar/Car allowance\n\nLife Cover\n\nPension Scheme\n\nPlease apply to this Quantity Surveyor job if it is of interest and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss in more detail
