We’re recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to report into the Managing Director of a bespoke construction consultancy. This company work on a number of exciting, fast paced retail, F&B, hospitality, new build and fit out projects across the UK.
From their East London office, they have built a reputation as the go to company for all their Design, Cost and Project Management needs. This award winning consultancy are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join them and help them to continue their growth in 2025 and beyond.
Quantity Surveyor :
- Shaping the cost reporting and management projects to drive efficiency, value and transparency.
- Provide and implement cost and cash tracking documents across all projects.
- Create pricing templates for FF&E, along with tender documents.
- Support the development of internal cost control systems.
- Support with feasibility studies and cost benefits analysis, along with the cost risks.
- Ensuring that contractors and suppliers provide an efficient service, value for money and are fully compliant with all H&S.
- Support the Project Management team.
- Provide value engineering when needed.
- Run tender exercises for new projects and provide accurate and detailed summary reports.
- Track changes to design and construction work and adjust budgets accordingly.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, contractors and suppliers.
If you have a strong work ethic and are dynamic in your approach to problems, we want to hear from you. You’ll need to be very organised and have exceptional attention to detail on all that you do. Experience of working for a consultancy or contractor is acceptable and having an open mind to find solutions to problems is a must.
You must be able to demonstrate that you have managed fit out projects up to £5m in the UK.
