Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

A client within the Private Sector based in Norfolk is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a construction environment.
 
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive quantity surveying services in support of project and cost management, contractual compliance, and financial reporting for construction works.
 
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Preparing and managing tender documentation to meet client and compliance requirements
• Conducting cost analysis and managing project budgets
• Negotiating and managing contracts to reduce commercial risk
• Producing accurate monthly cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and financial forecasts
• Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment
 
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
• HNC/HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
• Experience with fire engineering systems and tendering
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Familiarity with JCT/NEC contracts
• Financial reporting proficiency
• Strong stakeholder management
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering up to £50,000 p/a.
