Quantity Surveyor - Basingstoke

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor eager for change and a new challenge closer to home?



Do you have expertise in house-building and a deep understanding of construction techniques and mixed-tenure schemes?



Our client, a leading regional house builder, is searching for a freelance QS for 6 months to join their well established Commercial and work closely with their Customer Services function. Our client needs this person to start ASAP, and the role could extend due to performance.



Our client is offering two days from home, and 3 days you will be expected in their office based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. They are offering a competitive rate of £200-£230 per day.



With a strong commercial mindset and excellent account management skills, you'll be instrumental in minimising project costs and maximising margins and value for money, all while maintaining top-notch standards and quality. Your responsibilities will span procurement, subcontract management, contract administration, monthly payments, and final account settlement.



Experience using computer systems such as Coins, Viewpoint/4Projects is desirable so you can hit the ground running
