Senior/Quantity Surveyor – Truro, Cornwall

  

Salary: £50-£65k plus car allowance plus attractive company benefits

  

Role Description:

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing main contractor in their offices in Truro. This is a full-time role, based on-site and in the offices in Truro. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. The role involves collaborating with project teams and various stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor will also monitor construction costs and ensure adherence to the project's budget and timelines.



 Candidate:



Main contractor build and refurbishment experience

Public sector experience

Experience in cost control, cost management, and cost planning

Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost reporting

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

Relevant industry certifications are a plus
