Quantity Surveyor – Super Prime Landscaping



Location: Clapham Common, London (fully office based role)



Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum + benefits



About:



My clients speciality is the design and build of luxury residential Gardens and Landscape projects in the super prime residential market.



They are seeking an experienced Landscape Quantity Surveyor to join the team in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of landscape construction projects within the luxury landscape design and build sector.



Individuals with strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, knowledge of construction contracts and regulations, and good communication and negotiation skills and encouraged to apply.



Key Responsibilities:



1. Cost Control and Analysis: Conduct cost control and analysis for high-end landscaping construction projects. This involves monitoring expenses, tracking costs, and ensuring financial targets are met.



2. Estimates and Budgets: Prepare estimates and budgets for landscape construction projects. This includes assessing the costs of materials, labour, and other resources required.



3. Tender Evaluation: Evaluate tenders submitted by contractors and subcontractors.



4. Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress to ensure financial goals are achieved. This involves tracking expenses, identifying deviations, and making necessary adjustments.



5. Contractual Management: Manage contractual issues and claims. This includes handling disputes, variations, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.



6. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.



Qualifications:



1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent



2. Luxury Landscape OR Super Prime Residential/ Commercial Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the luxury landscape OR super prime residential/ commercial construction sector is crucial.
